About the Event

This parent/caregiver/educator training workshop examines the topic of speech sounds (the articulation/pronunciation of the words a child says). Participants will learn the difference between 'speech' and 'language,' learn developmental speech milestones, and learn the link between speech, language, and literacy (reading and writing).

Participants are encouraged to also register for Speech Sounds: The Strategies to learn about how caregivers and educators can facilitate speech skills at home and in the class, and when assessment and therapy may be helpful.
