About the Event
Megan MacLeod, Speech-Language Pathologist, will introduce participants to the use of songs and rhymes for developing language skills in toddlers.
Caregivers will learn how to use basic speech and language development strategies, how to adapt songs and rhymes they already know and love, how to make up their own, and will be given resources to keep the ideas flowing.
Megan will stick around for 15 minutes after the workshop to answer any additional questions.
This workshop is best suited for parents and caregivers of children who are 1-3 years of age. To ensure social distancing we ask that you leave your little ones at home this time. Non-mobile babies are welcome. The workshop space is up a flight of stairs. If you are unable to access childcare or have mobility issues, please let us know and we will provide alternative access.
